It wasn't often that Lya had to stay at Dakota's house. Her parents hardly ever visited North Carolina, and when they did, they never stayed long. She didn't mind being with her cousin or with the others, but she still had one small problem. She never slept as well as she did at her home.

It was that fact that caused her to open her eyes and bolt upright when she heard the shuffling in the corner. The girl stumbled out of bed in a hurry and grabbed the nearest available object. It was a copy of The Order of the Phoenix. While a book normally wasn't considered amongst the most deadly forces in the world, a copy of the fifth Harry Potter could pack quite a wallop.

The magician approached the source of the noise. Nobody else should have been in the room with her. This was her room while she stayed at Dakota's, and whoever had come in was going down. The teen moved as close to the other person as she possibly could without being noticed; then without warning, she lunged.

“Geddout!” she shouted, raising her arm and smashing the novel down on the intruder's head.

“Ow!” the boy shouted loudly, raising his hands to protect his head.

It took a moment before Lya was fully satisfied with the thrashing she'd given him. She reached over and flipped the light switch. “What the hell are you doing in here?”

The blond rubbed the top of his head and stared at her for a moment. It seemed that he'd been having quite a nice sleep on her floor before she'd so rudely woken him up by clobbering him with a book. “Ow! No fair attacking me in my sleep!” he complained, “It's raining and the ceiling in my room was leaking! I didn't think you'd mind! I wasn't going to do anything!”

Lya huffed, grabbing the Link by the shoulders and steering him towards the door. She'd been having her first semi-decent sleep for the first time in a while before he'd bothered her. “Then why don't you just go sleep on the couch?”

“Because, you know how loud it gets down there when everyone else is up!” he whined.

“Green, I don't care!” she told him, “Besides, the couch has to be a hell of a lot more comfortable than the floor in my room!”

“It would be,” he admitted, “But at least you're quiet.”

“Well, you're not staying up here!” she announced, shoving him out into the hallway. “I was having such a nice sleep...” The girl was, without a doubt, irritated beyond belief. She'd had to put up with the five Links for almost a week now, and now it seemed that she couldn't even have her own room to herself.

“But where do you expect me to go?” he asked, “I don't want to go downstairs!”

Lya gave him an annoyed smile. God, he was starting to get on her nerves. “Hell,” she snapped, slamming the door shut and returning to bed.
Part three of that commission at last. It took me long enough. I just had that stupid period where I lost all motivation for MH. In fact, I'm still not up to 100%. But I figured it was better late than never.

So :iconpiezelle:, here's part 3. You can punch me in the face if you want. Sorry Lya's so snarky. I had one of those moments where I just wrote what I felt, and the phone has literally rang EVERY HALF HOUR, so I'm really annoyed.

Lya is :iconpiezelle:'s.
Green is Nintendo's.
MH is mine.
